Metro support Train to Create & The Tom Hoops Photography Series

15 October 2013
Renowned British portrait and fashion photographer Tom Hoops has collaborated with Train to Create, to produce a unique three-day photography event supported by Wacom, Profoto and ourselves here at Metro Imaging. The series includes photography talks, workshops and a photography seminar and opens on 25th October at the London Collage of Fashion (LCF).

The series kicks off with an extraordinary line up of artists and key features of the Fashion and Photography world.  Tom will hold an open discussion about the Fashion and Photography Industry for 150 Photography and Fashion students of LCF.  We are pleased to be supporting this event with the presence of Steve Macleod, Creative Director at Metro who will be taking part in the discussion on the subject of Professional Practice and how best to present yourself to a prospective client and using which portfolio tools, as well as Metro providing prizes for various competitions and promotions.

The series continues with a full photographic experience workshop conducted by Tom and assisted by industry experts along with an additional day learning post-processing techniques, fine-tuning and preparing images for different outputs.

Metro will also be holding portfolio workshops in the near future in association with Train to Create - watch this space for further details.

This event takes place 25th - 27th October 2013 at various locations
