Metro is delighted to support the launch of a new art exhibition ‘Woodstock ’69 - Three Days of Peace, Love & Music’ commissioned by Poseytude Gallery. The exhibition showcases six original large-scale acrylic paintings framed by Metro
by young emerging artist Titi Finlay, featuring portraits of legendary musical artists including Richie Havens, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin who performed at the historic Woodstock Music & Art Fair in August 1969.
Titi is a graduate of jewellery design from Jordanstone College of Art & Design (University of Dundee) in Scotland and subsequently completed a degree in Fine Art. Her contemporary paintings reveal a timeless and classic style whilst also highlighting the influences from her training as a classical musician, bringing a vibrancy and vitality to the images which pulsate with rhythm, atmosphere and musical creativity.
Poseytude Gallery, formed in 2012 supports, promotes and selects artists that have artistic design qualities that reflect the gallery’s values and mission of a ‘Positive Art Attitude’, bringing beautiful quality work and affordable art investment to everyone.
