Metro supports Telling Stories 2 at Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery

18 March 2014
Metro is delighted to be producing scans and reverse Perspex prints for Telling Stories 2, a touring exhibition programme which opens at the Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery and Library in April.

The project is a platform for established and emerging artists to showcase experimental work in site-specific locations, the brief for entry for this year was to interpret the theme of telling stories by exploring the artist’s role as storyteller whilst also addressing ideas of communication and mis-communication. The selected artists include exciting works by Amanda Jobson, Judith Alder, Maeve Buckenham, Sophie Dixon, Louise Michele Evans, Victoria Haviland, Sharon Haward, David Jackson, Paul Stanley, Erin Veness, Clare Whistler and Kay Syrad.

The Telling Stories project started in Margate in 2011, was hosted in Hastings 2012-13 and moved on to Sevenoaks in September 2013 and has been generously funded by Arts Council England, Hastings Borough Council, East Sussex County Council and Kent County Council.
