Metro is delighted support young London-based photographer Sim Dhallu in her debut exhibition ‘Mumbai: A day in the life of the city’ which opens in London this week. This represents the first in a series of collections in which Sim focuses on recording the identity and capturing the culture of various cities across the world.
Within this beautiful body of work Sim explores notions of identity and sense of place. Her understanding of photographic language along with her acute eye for observation and empathetic depiction of people provide the onlooker with an intimate and personal portrayal of the city of Mumbai.

Sim Dhallu is a self-motivated and avid creative, interested in the mediums capacity for description and the authenticity of documentary photography. Sim followed a rather conventional path studying A-Levels and architecture at University before then embarking on a career in photography which is where her passion and creativity lies.
