The winners of the Renaissance Photography Award 2014 were revealed last week at an awards ceremony which took place amongst the award exhibition at Getty Images Gallery. This year saw a record number of entries - nearly 7000 images entered by photographers from 72 countries. As official print sponsor Metro has produced over 65 Giclée
and C Type prints
for the exhibition as well as producing frames
for a number of the images.
The competition, now in its seventh year had three single image category themes as well as an open series category.
The winners were as follows:
Best single Image Winner: Rohan Ghosh
Best Series Winner: Dany Peschel
Best Series Runner-up: David Favrod
Belonging: Franek Strzeszewski
Expression: Berta de la Rosa
Transistion: Jorge Valencia Avila

Renaissance Photography was founded in 2007 by Fiona Gifford a young
breast cancer sufferer to raise funds for The Lavender Trust, a charity
supporting young women. The Award now in its seventh year, is a much respected photography competition gaining the support of many industry leaders and offering international exposure for those taking part.
