At Direct’s shop in Waterloo they stock all the main brands; Gitzo Tripods, Kata Bags, Manfrotto grip equipment, Lacie hard drives, SanDisk memory cards, Colorama background paper, Rosco lighting gel, Lee filters, Ilford, Harmon & Epson inkjet papers and Epson inks.

They aim to think of everything, which is why they’ve got gaffer tape, batteries, spare lamps, camera media cards, gels, filters, tapes, poly boards, folding chairs, even umbrellas! Studio Hire

The 2000 sq ft photographic hire studio at Waterloo is a welcoming and stylish environment with every facility you might need, such as air-conditioning, broadband access, sound system, kitchen and catering facilities, hair and make-up, client seating areas, and a separate client / production room. All this is supported by Direct’s efficient team of assistants, fully trained in all aspects of production, lighting and camera set-up with their entire lighting and camera hire stock directly to hand.

Training

Almost all Direct’s equipment is purpose made for the professional market. That means much of it requires specialist knowledge to use productively and safely. Direct run a unique training and demonstration environment, custom-built and staffed by qualified trainers. You can test all their professional photographic equipment, or they’ll demonstrate it to you without the pressure of a large shoot. There are always courses running and you can book their facilities at any time.
