Metro is delighted to support the unique multimedia and photography festival Night Contact taking place on the streets of Brighton for one night only on Saturday 18th October, from 6pm-11pm. The event takes place across four key locations: Jubilee Square, Jubilee Street, the Basement, and Circus Street market.
Numerous indoor and outdoor projections will be popping up across in a range of venues in Brighton as part of the Brighton Photo Biennial 2014, beaming out inspiring artworks as night begins to fall.
The curators of Night Contact aim to showcase a 'range of still and moving works exploring ideas of collaboration, authorship and influence in relation to the photographic image and the screen'. A map will guide visitors through the festival, detailing each art piece whilst navigating between still and moving images.
Night Contact also partnered with Photoworks to offer a £2,500 grant towards one new site-specific collaborative work. The commission will be the focus of Night Contact 2014, and will be shown in a project space for the duration of Night Contact
