Metro has been closely working with Rook and Raven in preparation for the upcoming exhibition ‘Terry O’Neill - Reworked’. Renowned photographer Terry O’Neill is responsible for some of the most recognizable photography of the last 50 years and in this exhibition his often iconic images are reinterpreted by the image-makers of today by a number of different methods.
The exhibition will show the original O’Neill print, the reworked image and original pieces from each artist to show the contrast in style. Metro have printed all the original images for the show as well as working individually with James Marshall to produce his Elton John, A Single Man print.
Terry O’Neill, acclaimed for his intimate images of the famous and powerful comments “I have been looking at my photographs for decades and they’ve become very familiar to me. What I love about this collaboration with Rook and Raven is having young artists with a fresh eye interpreting iconic images for a new generation. I am excited to see what they do and why they do it. For me, there is nothing so rewarding as working with new talent and fresh ideas.”
The celebrated lineup of collaborating artists includes Curtis Kulig
the American artist, photographer, and illustrator; abstract artist James Marshall

, who creates multidimensional collages, contemporary painter Daniel Lumbini
and world acclaimed artist James Mylne
. The reworked images comprises the infamous Brigitte Bardot with a cigar and Raquel Welch modified to appear on the crucifix. Exhibiting alongside these unique pieces of artwork are Terry O’Neill’s highly collectable fine-art limited edition prints and the artists’ own work in order to contextualise the collaboration.
