Following on from our news story in March regarding our sponsorship of the PhotoVoice 'Wild' competition we are pleased to announce the final fifty shortlisted entries are now available for purchase. Metro Imaging are thrilled to be exclusively printing the 16”x 12”images as limited edition Lambda C Type prints
at a price of £50, with all profits going to the charity PhotoVoice.
The outstanding finalists images have been judged by award winning photographer and author Steve Bloom and feature fifty imaginative and diverse images of scenes from the natural world. The scenes include trees cocooned in spider webs after flooding in Pakistan, spectacular panoramic view of Scotland’s lochs and an underwater scene of Barracuda’s circling the sunlight, 'Wild' photography collectors are spoilt for choice.
In addition to purchasing a print there is also the opportunity to vote for your favourite image. The photographer with the most votes will receive the ‘Wild Public Choice Prize’ – Wildlife Heritage Foundation Group Photographic Workshop.
PhotoVoice is a charity that works to build skills within marginalised communities using innovative participatory photography and digital storytelling. Giving those communities the opportunity to represent themselves and create tools for advocacy and communications to achieve positive social change.
