As the season for Degree Shows is now in full swing so our Mentorship Awards 2016 are being announced.  Metro is a huge supporter of young, up and coming photographers and has for many years provided individual Mentorships to Photography Graduates and award winners.

Metro is an official partner of Free Range 2016, the special project set up in 2001 to provide new creative graduates with the opportunity to showcase their work on an international level.  This year we are supporting the Free Range Shows Awards and recently announced Eva Abeling as the winner of the Metro Mentorship 2016, winning a 12-month Metro Mentorship.

Tom Hatton was awarded the Royal College of Art, MA Photography Award 2016 winning £1000 credit to spend on Metro Imaging services and a 12-month Metro mentorship.  Additionally Steff Jamieson was awarded second place based on her The Reluctant Mute body of work, winning £500 credit in addition to a 12-month Metro mentorship.
