Metro is thrilled to have produced and installed striking vinyl wallpaper covering four internal walls of Photo50 at the London Art Fair for artist & photographer Hassan Hajjaj.
The wallpaper covering approximately 30 sqm was produced on our versatile direct to media UV printer
which enables images to be reproduced directly onto almost any substrate. Landor Phototex
which was used for this installation, is a new photographic vinyl and a fantastic alternative to traditional wallpaper – perfect for awkward walls or large areas as it requires no paste and simply peels off, residue free when no longer required.
Moroccan born Hassan Hajjaj is best-known for designing the ‘Andy Wahloo’ bar-restaurant in the third arrondissement of Paris, his work is heavily influenced by the club, hip-hop, and reggae scenes of London as well as by his North African heritage.
Metro is delighted to support the Photo50 event - a critical showcase of some of the most interesting and distinctive elements of current photographic practice and produced C Type prints
for both Jonny Briggs and Darren Harvey-Regan whose work is also part of the show.
