Our Direct to Media printer
has been put to good use recently producing small, unique and inspired wood pieces for Reclectic, designers of creative art and vintage furniture, and is being showcased at Grand Designs Live
in early May.
The small team of artists at Reclectic have developed an innovative technique for hand spray-painting historic patterns in a pixelated effect onto vintage furniture and one-off wooden pieces. Showcasing the contrast between the historic and modern aesthetic - a dash of rocket science combined with good old-fashioned handcraft.
Three exclusive designs make up their new Modern Tapestry Collection
: Botanical Ode, A Leaf from her Book and Daisy Sonnet drawing inspiration from vintage designs by William Morris
, 18th century textile design and Victorian England’s fascination with flowers. The wooden panels and slabs, inspired by history and enabled by technology are produced in a variety of organic shapes and panels cut from walnut, elm, English cherry, spruce and oak. They will be on show for the first time at the Reclectic stand L34 at Grand Designs Live this month.
